Anansi Boys - by Neil Gaimon

Brief synopsis - Fat Charlie's embarrassing father finally died, while singing karoake and charming the young blond ladies. He goes to the funeral, and discovers he has a full blooded brother who was sent away. He decides, on a whim, to invite him to London (where Fat Charlie lives), and promptly gets Fat Charlie in trouble with the law, steals Fat Charlie's fiancee, and somehow adds a whole new room to Fat Charlie's house complete with big screen TV, surround sound, and a playstation, oh yeah, and a waterfall. What is Big Charlie to do? He gains the help of his fathers neighbors, and enlists the Bird Women to get the brother to go away. Fat Charlie discovers things about himself, and his brother, well, he ends up married the former Fiancee.

My Review- I loved this book! Neil Gaimon is such a great author, for those Harry Potter fans out there, pick it up if you are looking for an adult book to read! Neil Gaimon has another book that fits in this universe (its not a prequel or sequel) called American Gods. That book was great too, but much much darker. I actually liked this one better. So, if you have some time to kill and want to read a book- its not that long, go pick up a copy of this book.
